I pinned him then ran to the house, i was back it 3-4 minutes and then he died in one head shot.

I wasnt going to try and battle with a rabid animal nor was i going to let it get away. We had livestock, pets, little kids, you name it running all over the farm. Rabies is a real problem with wild critters in the country, first thing i learned about rabies was you dont go near an animal that has it. I just happened to be about 4 feet from the snarling coon that day or else i would have ran for it. No syringes will be going into my stomach if i can help it.

I would have impaled it and let it die slowly.

why not pull a pitchfork from the stomach of a raccoon from 3 feet away? hmmmm i can only think of one good reason, because if i did i thought it might just run at me and bite me giving me rabies, which can only be treated by a series of shots directly into your stomach.

I would advocate that people kill animals with rabies BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE. The only reason i didnt shoot it directly after stabbing it was because i didnt have my gun on me.

A pitch fork is usually made out of like what 3/8" round bar? So when i stabbed it it did not die, it was only hurt. And after being stabbed a rabid animal is more likely to fight than run. An animal with rabies is more likely to fight than run in ANY situation.

Have you ever killed a rabid raccoon with a pitchfork in a 100 sq. foot room? I didnt think so, so why dont you stop preaching like you know what the fuck youre on about.

Wait since Caedus is worried about the raccoon you should kill him the economic way, hire him for a brief period of time pay him just pennies for his lowly labor job then toss his worthless ass out and replace him.
