I don't know about complimenting, but you were just stating what is already being done. Sorry if I took this as a "you're not doing X, so do X" statement.

no one believes in god untill they feel god. no one disbelieves in god, they just say that a lot to make it seem that way, to themselves.
What is it to believe in hope? what is it to have no hope?
why make your choice no hope? even if you don't want to believe in god would you not wish for hope rather then no hope? Hope in what? Lets say, Love over hate. Hope over dispare. God over humans. For if we all there is, this is a sad world indeed.
Now make your mind up there is only dispare no hope? Love does not win over hate? We the best there is. no possible creature out there we can call god as in all of creation as we know it. You can say everything centers around you are leave open the possible, there is something greater out there, that you can connect with and be blessed.

Keep telling yourself there is no god only you and family and money. money comes first!
here is how a true Christian thinks....God comes first ... then Family, then himself..

you choose money. you greedy is all, I forgive you. as will god, if you ever find truth for yourself.

I love the false dichotomy between belief in god and greed and selfish hopelessness. Why can't altruism exist without a god? It seems a demonstrable fact that it does exist among some nonbelievers.

I said in "matters such as this". I did not generalize.

However, rationality ought to prevail over love. It seems like there are some things that would be crazy if done because of a love for someone.

...and you missed the point I wanted to make . Claiming that your own rationality prevents you from believing in God is a load of self serving malarkey and is always a cover for the real reason(s) .
