This one I'll agree with. Though this woman specifically does have some thyroid issues, afaik, which can have a pretty shitty effect when it comes to weight loss.

Egggxactly. If one's hormones are out of whack, as happens with thyroid dysfunction or post-pregnancy recalibration (that last term I just made up, btw
), then body weight gets dysregulated.
Also, there's a bunch of chemicals in our food and medications that mess with equilibrium too, making it even worse.
