They make a good show running around some.. Then 30 minutes later... They go back to the park cars with slashed tires and broken windshields

The crackdown is going to show the populace, you can stop riots, put violent protestors destroying property behind bars. I think when everything is over, dems will lose out more again.
The only way "to escalate" the protests in a way to damage Trump administration is to hire an insider policeman shooting with live ammo at protestors.

It definitely strikes right at the heart of democrat's odds in 2028. The two front runners for the ticket are Tim Walz and Gavin Newsom, and god forbid they end up as a P/VP ticket. Its a double down on the arsonist wing of the democratic party.

I mean most of the people are dumb in the eyes of the politicians but people get smart with time/experience. You can't try the same trick time and time again while expecting the same results.
I think moderate minorities (black, latina, asians) are just annoyed by protests by now. This is not how you get your voters back. They need perspectives and visions for the future. The old corrupt dem guard isn't going to leave their posts on their own. True change for the democratic party would be getting rid of those old farts and creating a modern dem party for the left and moderates.
The biggest challence dems face is the alienation of young male adults. That's gonna hurt them for decades.
