Disputed elections at the State level now have to be fought at the State level, with the final arbiter being the Governor of the State. It was a very pretty way to bypass the judiciary, if we're being honest.

Elon did a weird thing, we can say it was a heartfelt gesture and i agree with that, but it still came off as weird and any time he does something weird the autism excuse comes out. my wife is an actual teacher for kids with autism, when they do weird shit you dont just say "well, autism", you cue them to correct the behavior. now the left does this incorrectly, by saying dumb stuff like "omg see he really is a nazi sympathizer and that's a dog whistle", which is absurd. but the right doesn't help either when they make a million excuses for odd behavior either.

at the end of the day its not a big deal anyways, and like i said before we'll forget all about it in a week or so because thats how new cycles handle minor stories like this one. over amplify, move on, ultimately forget.

"The Right" is not a monolith. Which is why Republicans so seldom get anything done in office. Dems fall under a very narrow set of guidelines in order to continue receiving support from the DNC. To the bolded, I agree! However, I would expand to say it's fucking hilarious, and Elon is a businessman. His act will not impact his business negatively. Hell, if the extreme twitter interaction from the so-called "anti-twitter" left is any indication, his meme HELPED his business.

Elon acts like a teenage gamer who buys all his shit from item stores, brags about being the best when he doesn't know how to play, and memes the shit out of everyone for fun. It's what he is. Elon can do just about anything and it wont change his success, that's proven to be true time and again. i think its a bad idea for non-Elon people to do that same, when the consequences happen they cant use "elon did it" and avoid issues. he does get away with it partially because he's always trolling and memeing, most people can't get away with that, and we're not close to a society where they can. if we were maybe id see these people as cultural martyrs pushing us into that direction, but reality is we're far off and people are still by-and-large too sensitive.

as to my respect for marxists they also think water is wet and the sky is blue. so i listen then discount about 90-99% of what they say. discounting people because of a label they have to such an extent that we dont even bother to listen is silly to me. its like when people say if u just listen to fox news you'll get brainwashed, same for CNN. i listen to everyone and make up my own mind, not because they told me to do something or else. i know the consequences without being told, im an adult man who grew up watching people suffer them. i say things on d2jsp that id never say in real life, im a pragmatist above anything and wont risk the food on my table for my kids for just about anything i currently see in the american landscape. when they start strapping kids down and injecting sex change hormones into them ill be the first in line to stand up to that. but some teacher saying shit to my kid that i can easily counter at home? annoying sure, not gonna protest about it. There is a very large difference between listening to a person's words and respecting their demands. When your two year old makes the case for why they should be able to eat a 12 piece chicken mcnuggets for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner every single day, you listen. Do you give it to them? Do you respect their demands? Of course not! You listen because you never know, they may make a good point. But in the end, they're just a two year old who wants something they have no right to.
