Execs bear a collective responsibility for the actions of the companies they manage

Are you certain of that? The way I've heard it, the fiduciary duty of executives is to insure stockholders make a profit. Corporations that size tend to have ethics boards that are responsible for determining what responsibility, if any, they have to the customer.

Further, why would anyone assume that the CEO was in charge of the tech department that implemented an AI? Most CEOs of that size corporation are political animals. They deal more with politicians and the media than the day to day operations of the company.

It was cold blooded murder. That being said, I think it will tough to find a jury with no one who suffered or knows someone who suffered because of denied coverage.

Disturbing. See, the way I understand it, neither Luigi nor his afflicted mother ever had a policy through UnitedHealthcare or their subsidiaries. EVER. They were NEVER denied ANYTHING by the company, let alone this relatively new CEO who was barely a millionaire, and certainly no billionaire. Imagine you get a dream job as CEO of some massive corporation with nothing more than an MBA from some second rate university. You amass a personal portfolio of some $11 million over the course of the next 6 years (less than Pelosi manages in a year, weird!), and suddenly you get assassinated by a guy who never even did business with your company. And the crowds cheer!

Get Marx out of America. Fast.

What? He had a net worth of 43 million dollars and was on a salary of 10 million per year.
He qualified for the title of millionaire 43 times over, that is not "just barely", his net worth has nothing to do with this though, his shitty policies are what caused this.

Just barely. This is the age of "Billionaire". A "net worth" of 43 million just means he gets decent stock benefits. It's neither cash nor capital. Merely a means of passive income via dividends. His capital (land, vehicles, etc.) and cash on hand amounted to around 11 million. That's after 6 years as a CEO. And there are oodles of politicians who're worth far more, and have never worked a single day in the private sector.

We will agree that shitty politics is to blame for this. The shitty politics of Marxists who believe that they have a right to kill anyone they disagree with.

No, you think capitalists have a right to kill people for profit.

Most people think he's a hero.

41% is not most, and even if it were, it only takes one guy to pull a trigger.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Murder is illegal and has been since the founding of our nation, first off. Second off, "Capitalism" and "Capitalists" are made up terms. Made up by Karl Marx, and tossed around willy-nilly by idiots who have no capability of understanding what they mean.

But since you've completely lost any sense you had, I'm going to shock you with some brutal truth: Nobody has any responsibility to provide any money to any other person if that money is not earned. Period. You don't earn it, you aren't entitled to it. Done, end of story. Any form of product, service, housing, land, transportation, etc.? Is worth money. It has already been determined that the man had NEVER had any policy with UnitedHealth. His mother had NEVER had any policy with UnitedHealth. AND he was WEALTHY, and could AFFORD whatever treatments were necessary, WITHOUT INSURANCE. Meaning, he committed murder against someone absolutely innocent of any wrongdoing against him or his family. And the best part? No insurance company is REQUIRED to extend coverage for ANYTHING to people who don't have a fucking policy with their company.

Sit down, silly Marxist, you sound like an idiot. :)

Murder by withholding medical care IS legal in your third world country.
No one ever said luigi had a personal grudge against this particular company, he had a grudge with the system, united just seems to be the worst of the bunch.
You call me an idiot a lot but i know if we took an iq test your redneck ass would be embarrassed so i just ignore it, remember we have spent hours speaking on discord dom, i know exactly how smart you are and i wouldn't call you a genius.
