The left is dangerous as fuck and have also seemingly ramped up the attack on free speech in the last few months. Im going off topic but that ideology really has spread like a virus.

On a related note to the recent conversation, it's rather interesting to see people still fervently defend gender affirming care as the rest of the world backs away from it. Even nyt writers have come out against it, which I never thought I'd see.

Do you mean Jordan Peterson because there are countless videos illustrating that he has no idea what he's talking about and is basically just a political puppet at this point. When he uses terns like 'woke mind virus', you can essentially tell he's just grifting to the sensibilities of rightoids because it's profitable.

I'm not arguing the nuances of the specific medical practice. At best, I said it's something mose transgender people, especially children don't even do. Because that's a fact. It's a small subset of an already small subset. My point is that it's none of our business what people choose to do for themselves. The fact that they might regret it later has absolutely zero bearing on this fact.

Okay. Assuming literally every parent in the entire country didn't, how exactly does that disprove anything I've said? Parents do consent to their children starting treatments (even though it's very few that even attempt it). It happens. How is it any of our business? It isn't. Not even a little.

Really doesn't address the issue. Even if every parent did (and they dont). What bearing does that have on any of this? At best, those specific parents have the right to pull their children from any schools teaching anything they don't agree with. And again, all I've seen is that kids are being told 'people like this exist in society'. And for some reason that is enough to be considered brainwashing and indoctrination. It's foolishness.
