if you make a mistake the first time due to someone's appearance, that is forgivable. if they correct you and you still purposefully misuse their pronoun, that makes you a rude asshole

if one of your friends wanted to be called by their middle name instead of their first name, would you purposefully use their first name to piss them off? I'd hope not. I dont understand why conservatives are hung up on the gender problem...oh wait, i do, its because they want everyone to conform to their ancient 'moral' religious rules

Normal people in the real world do not get upset if you "misgender" them. People make gaffes. People say sir or ma'am or whatever by accident alot - and guess what, people don't get mad. Some people seriously need to touch grass and get off the internet

Nah, I don't care if men want to put on lipstick and wear a dress. But I do resent being forced to call them by their preferred pronouns or face consequences. I don't understand why you can't see that. People like me are being coerced into behaving in a certain way.

like i said before, from my point of view, the left demands the conformity much than the right does these days. maybe im wrong, but thats how i see it.

for daily use of pronouns, if corrected because i made the wrong assumption, i will use whatever pronoun they ask me to. however, i am not doing so because i believe it to be true, i do it because i am simply being polite. im not an asshole in real life like i am on jsp, haha.

its weird, alot of the times someone like myself shares this point of view, people often assume i am completely ok with people being oppressed. and no, im not. no one should have to suffer that, however i do have the right to say that i do not want to play along with your make believe.

for something like annorexia, we do not tell the patient that the treatment is to continue to starve yourself, so forgive me if i think that encouraging transition is odd.
