I agree that the bible contains dumb stuff, however you have to take into account that it was written thousands of years ago. Back then, people didn't have the scientific knowledge that we do today.

And parts of it contain wisdom that is still applicable today, such as love your neighbor, give to the poor, be a good Samaritan, help others, and various talks that support people's spiritual growth. You shouldn't throw out the entire book just because it has some bad parts.

your trying to communicate with a REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeftie......... :)

Dude, you are the last one to call anybody pathetic. In this thread, we clearly are asking, "when does human life begin?", but you pretend that we are asking, "when did life on earth begin?". You are disgusting.

I believe what Jesus was saying is that someone who had a love for money would not go to heaven; he didn't mean rich people.

It's fine to love money, as long as you don't hurt or screw anybody over in your pursuit of it.

No one becomes a billionaire without doing those two things.

It's hard but not impossible. For example, if you are incredibly smart and you come up with an invention that benefits people. This would allow you to become very rich without screwing anybody.

Define "screw over". If I sell a product more than it costs for me to produce am I automatically screwing someone over? If I fire an employee for stealing or underperforming or because a company needs to downsize due to lack of sales is that screwing someone over? If I negotiate a deal that works in my favour does that mean I am screwing someone over? If one of my management employees does something unethical unrelated to me or company policy does this mean I am a bad person vicariously?

You are implying that billionaires are all bad people by default. What about someone who buys a lotto ticket and wins a billion dollars are they screwing someone?

You have an axe to grind with the rich doesn't mean they all bad people and are out there to screw anything and anyone who gets in a way.
Instead you could say that there are some bad billionaires/mega wealthy people just like any there are some terrible poor people. Or better yet some individuals are bad no matter race/wealth/creed/sex etc, etc.

You are being financially abled people hater

I agree with your points on general rich, but billionaire and rich are vastly differing behemoths. Billionaire class has legions of financial firms ensuring their net worth remains same and grows. Endless funds for lobby's and politicians for forever favorable treatment. Their real estate is preferential treated in regards to tax, some even considered church status on owned properties. Internships only available to the elites among these circles. They apply their philanthropic vision onto the lower classes. The best do this in secret and under guise of tax church status. When they are found out, they have plenty of money to squash the stories.

There is one lotto billionaire that has ever existed, he has only been one for a few months so I guess we will see.
The rest are scum.

It's certainly true for some of them, but not all. Normal people use accountants to accomplish same goals. You and I and Warren buffet are subject to same tax laws. Buffet is just smarter, has more accountants and uses more creative ways to pay less. I don't hate the guy because of it. I simply learn from them and apply their methods and then reap the rewards. It's how the game was designed to be played. You don't show up to a football match with your 2 friends and your little brother then say well it's not fair how the opposition has more players and how they are all professional athletes.

I do think certain tax laws are just bad in general but not because I want to bring down successful people to my level. I aspire to to have millions/blllions of dollars myself I don't want to destroy those bridges. Big incentives generate big developments. I do think usuary, compounding interest and fed printing infinite amount of money are detrimental however and require major changes. But that is a law makers job to change those things. They are closer to the root cause than pointing fingers at some billionaire.
