i never cared much about ukraine, never wanted them (or most or eastern europe for that matter) in the EU, never was too bothered by their domestic issues. i'm confident in claiming that (minus the EU part maybe) is true for 99.9% of this sub.
nowadays i DO give a shit - because innocent people are being killed by the thousands, a country is being invaded and destroyed (by a dictator who i have been criticising for many years btw, while authoritarian bootlickers like yourself have been fawning over the strong man image he cultivated), and everything i buy has gotten a whole lot more expensive due to russia's attempt to conquer foreign territory.
if the concept of people caring when bad shit happens is genuinely incomprehensible / shocking to you, you clearly lack real human interaction. in the real world, that's what the overwhelming majority of people (at least those who aren't brainwashed sociopaths spending their life in extremist online echo chambers) do.
