As far as I've tracked, every one of his moments of departing from Democratic orthodoxy(whether in policy or optics) has been positive. And sometimes it doesn't even make that much sense politically, like calling out Bob Menendez. The senator has become a badass.

He seems to be what a normal Democrat would be 30 years ago, people of common sense who support strong but fair workers rights, moderate social services and moderate spending.

When he was running for office and struggled to communicate after his stroke, it was difficult to understand what his beliefs were, especially when he said he supports fracking but contradicted himself while struggling to speak. It's wonderful that he has recovered so well and is looking to many Republicans to be better than Oz.

Hamastinians on the other hand are stone-age brutes who are incapable of providing for even the basic necessities of life.

And now we have come full circle.

You stated that the idf was the fourth (4th) greatest army in the world. Well this great army has been unable to beat stone age brutes after four months. Hamas has retaken the north (even though you proudly proclaimed is was under Israeli control) and none of its offensive capabilities have diminished.

Meanwhile just today the kiryati Brigade had to be rotated out of Khan younis and sent to the front. Israel is trying for a one month ceasefire with hamas because it doesn't want to go to war with hezbollah while Gaza STILL is not secured.

Sandal wearing stone age brutes did that.

Hamas has preformed better than most were expecting. Again this isn't a "hamas is winning in two weeks" cope post but they're still alive with the tunnels intact. Turning Gaza into stalingrad with no clear way to breach the tunnels, was always going to take a long ass time.

I don't report untruths just basic information that is easily verifiable. For example the US just took 13 casualties with three Kia in Jordan.

Nonsense. Plus we are talking about Hamas, not attacks in Jordan.

They are rotting in their holes like rats. Gaza is destroyed and their people are starving. Hardly a victory unless your threshold is incomparably low.

You're correct: hamas conditions for victory is to literally just survive. Their goal is to try and outwait the idf in hopes it will retreat from Gaza due to external pressures like the northern front.
If Israel wants to take down hamas they basically have to take the Philadelphi line and stop the smuggling from Egypt into rafah. Then the idf has to play forever war in a guerilla setting that's gives every possible advantage to the defender.

There's a reason why even Americans never raided tunnels in vietnam; it's too deadly and tunnels are notoriously easy to boobytrap. Israel can't gas the tunnels due to the hostages (,they killed 2 israelies this way and the public outrage was significant)

Therefore we can conclude that the only feasible way to destroy hamas is to accept that the hostages can't be rescued and it will take a couple of years to starve/flush out hamas.

Or bibi gets a ceasefire with hamas in the interm and then launches a strike on beruit and drags the US against Iran. This is the situation that seems more likely at this point.

I actually agree with what you wrote.
Another option is a deal to release the hostages for a ceasefire which won’t end the war. Hamas still don’t accept but it seems that the pressure of the IDF in Khan Yunis is doing wonders to make Hamas flexible.
Either way Hamas will have to accept that they won’t be in charge in Gaza for long. The IDF will stay there as many years as necessary.

Why the link with the fact that Likud sponsorized Hamas for decades ?
