He only shot himself in the foot with this stunt. And he also did a massive disservice to the GOP senators who have a runoff coming up. Clips of Trump prematurely claiming victory in GA will be plastered all over the local airwaves to rile up the Dem base.

Rile them up to go vote in a Senate runoff in early January. Historically, turnout in these Georgia runoffs has been very low, particularly on the Democratic side. They have huge trouble turning their coalition out for these runoffs. Trump basically taunting these voters right in their face might solve this issue for the Dem operatives. If I were Perdue or Loeffler, I'd be furious at Trump.
