I agree, I'm also not a fan of democracy. I think a meritocracy is best.

Aristocracy, meritocracy, something like that.

Those are just checks on built in privilege, nepotism, and biases.



Aristocracy is the notion that a class of people can be better than another class due to their lineage. We know this is untrue, although genius can be found in families.

Aristocracy is quite anti-meritocratic though.

They're both a similar concept of people being better, by birth or ability.

I don't think I've ever said as such.



But one of those "better" criteria is rational and legitimate and the other isn't.
