Iran has been sanctioned long before this started, comment irrelevant

Well to your first point: yes Israel has in fact done a remarkable job of bagging top level Iranian commanders, especially in leb/iraq

To your second point: hamas chain of command doesn't matter because the logistics of firing rpgs at exposed armor is a simple line of comms; easily maintained

I honestly believe that at this point its in israels best interest to expose hezboallahs tunnel system in the north because they cross into Israeli territory. This is probably why the US just sent 3 squadrons of f35/15 and apaches

And for what it's worth I think that israels gona win the case

U clearly didnt read it then.

That's the good thing about the Chinese: when push comes to shove, they'll always go "business first, politics second".

So the court didn’t rule for a genocide and the stop of the war and basically said nothing.
Great win for Israel

This was the intermediate ruling. The ruling for a genocide will not be handed down for atleast a year. In the meantime Israel has to abide by the courts ruling (or not). It has to allow aid in and cannot destroy evidence related to this case. In one month Israel has to come back and provide evidence that it upheld the courts ruling.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in Gaza because I'd imagine bibis just gona Yolo it and continue on glossing Khan younis.

While I'd say Israel is incredibly callous with respect to palestinian lives i dont think "genocide" is the most accurate label for what's happening

I agree aswell and that's why south Africa's case wasn't about genocide per se but the "intent to commit genocide" as it turns out the most damning evidence was Israeli leaders posting on Twitter and idf soldiers making tik toks. If they simply didn't boast about it they would of been fine but now they are in a position where they are most likely going to ignore the courts decision

The court didn’t order to stop of the war like the expectation from SA and the Palestinians. I read that SA said they are happy with the decision so I guess it’s a win-win. Not that it matters really, Assad didn’t care back then and Israel already has US, France, Britain and Germany at its side.
Meanwhile this happened:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-01-26/us-halts-unrwa-funding-over-claims-staff-joined-oct-7-attacks

What a shocker! We’ve been saying that for years.

And here they actually admit it : https://www.unrwa.org/newsroom/official-statements/serious-allegations-against-unrwa-staff-gaza-strip

I wonder how many others.. and how it’ll look like in court given that they relay on UNRWA information so much ?

I’m sure that if I’ll go back a bit ill find a post when you stated israel is committing a genocide. Changing statements as the wind blows ?
