I think you're subject to a bit of media tinge. I wouldn't even put race relations in the top 3 problems facing America. Mainly because that wheel is already rolling, both reps and dems are pushing for some facet of criminal justice reform which is the worst facet of systemic racism. Whereas cleaning up political corruption which causes both foolish laws and stagnation aren't getting addressed with policy just words like "ill clean it up" from the dirtiest of the dirty. We still don't have a solid plan to finish transforming from a blue collar economy to tech economy in many places. etc.
