I wasn't saying the exact numbers were swapped in 2012, I figured that was obvious. I didn't account for how much you need to get a point in after how badly you've been smashed lately.

What I should have said was "something similar happened to the Republicans in 2012, in the sense that they received a very small benefit for the amount of money spent"
