His case is speculation, less reality.
In all reality it doesn’t even look like Israel Saudi deal is for sure falling apart yet. A deal they negotiated over the last few years without once consulting Hamas, the reigning party in Gaza. This alone should demonstrate their irreverence to both Hamas and Iran.
You guys really underestimate the impact not only of the above deal but also how intertwined Saudi and US economies are
#1 rule for everyone is self preservation
US needs Saudi
Israel needs US and Saudi
Saudi needs US
Which part? The relationship has most definitely gotten much worse than it used to be due to what he mentioned, that doesn't mean they will burn everything down, but it certainly isn't helpful.
Saudis don't care about hamas but they do care about the Palestinians.

Not underestimating it just dont think it is bulletproof. Regarding their economies I admit I don't know the extent of how intertwined they are, I will read up on it though thanks.
I don't think self preservation is the #1 rule, if it were we wouldn't have wars would we? Or maybe it is but the meaning varies so much between people that what seems like self preservation to one person might seem suicidal to another. Either way I'm personally of the opinion that there are a lot of big geopolitical shifts happening right now and that the SA-US relationship might be one of those.
