The problem with America, as I have pointed out, is that it no longer has the ability to put boots on the ground. Being 30 years ahead in military technology is no longer an advantage when fighting goat herders. This entire conflict is proof of that, uncle sam is using 1-6 million dollar sm missles to shoot done drones ordered via alexipress. America remains the obvious military superpower but no longer has the support of its people to engage in an actual war.
So we will get more bombing campaigns and illegal emergency shipments of munitions to israel, but, until proven otherwise, America has done a fucking terrible job in the last three months of maintaining global hegemony, I guess that's what happens when the commander in chief is senile
When you have the infrastructure to manufacture the bombs/ammunition/equipment/ etc. at a scale unmatched you can leave billions upon billions in military equipment in Afghanistan and just up and leave. Most would say "Wow that shows American weakness" more like "Wow Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, and other military contractors really can meet the "supply" of the worlds "never ending wars". So the US can give Ukraine/Israel/ANYONE basically an endless supply all while never taking out the "big guns" so to speak. No one benefits in a nuclear conflict. No one benefits if a bunch of EMP's go off and we get knocked into the stone age.
The United States is perfectly positioned to continue to be the worlds number one arms dealer. Arming a population to the TEETH if an actual ground invasion every hit American soil and I mean another countries militaries boots on the ground they would stand no chance and that's why these "sanctuary cities" promote anti-gun rhetoric so when SHTF you can't defend you and your family.
I would love to see a bunch of sleeper cell "jihadis" try and run an op in a city like Chicago/New York/LA where armed gangs already run the streets.
You can downplay the United States hegemony because technology and things are changing smaller less advanced countries at a faster pace into more modern 1st world countries but as someone from this country(not sure if you are) I can candidly admit to the atrocities carried out by my own military so that the "American Public" remains blissfully unaware. When my two close friends went and served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan they told me straight up that most of the time was spent taking/guarding oil & opium fields. The towns people from what I was told were all super nice and far from the "terrorist" my news sources put out. Now that my friends are no longer active in the military they will say straight up, "We weren't there getting terrorist or weapons of mass destruction". We were looting countries rich in oil and opiates to feed a bigger beast(Military industrial complex / Big Pharma/ International agendas)
