as i explained before, logically, counts in swing states were always going to take longer. and have to be done slower. so of course it took days and days. and with the pandemic and old people being the bean counters they didnt want back to back shifts round the clock.

most of the coastal states and southern states could have called it hours into counting as the leads for one side or the other were huge.

in all of the battle ground states it was dead close so they waited.

also, your statement is false. states where Trump won by a massive amount like Alaska stopped counting too, and took days to make the call.

if they had rushed through the counts around the clock and called it the next day you hairbrains would be saying that was suspicious. you want there to be something there. at least to your credit your not full blown nuts on this.

No, it would be normal if the count was finished within the timeframe that it normally takes to count ballots.

why wouldnt it take 2 weeks to count 5x more mail in ballots than have previously ever been counted?

also several states waited to call the election until specific batches of votes that were being challenged in court were settled. PA and MI come to mind.

i hear a lot of people saying "well that took too long" but no one explaining why it should have taken less time, other than "well in this other year where things were completely different it took less time". like lol, ok?

And that the reason it took so long was because republicans made laws saying they cant count mail in votes early

People spouting this stuff aren't familiar with the process or are acting in bad faith. The certification of results always takes a long ass time and every single election, there are a handful of people in Congress who don't know if they won their election for several weeks. In addition, the media played it VERY safe by not calling elections when it was obvious who won. I don't blame the media for playing it safe though because a retraction is even more embarrassing than waiting for the obvious.
