In 1973, Egypt's population stood at 37 million. Nowadays, they're at 113 million. Yes, Israel's population has also roughly tripled since then, but Israel's growth has come disproportionately from its Arab and ultra-Orthodox population. Egypt also hadn't received decades of US military aid back then.
