When you say this with the same fervor as you did in 2015, you're basically asking for it to happen.

I don't want Biden, but I would vote for him over any repub. Shit, I'd vote for a flaming turd over a repub.

I would have voted for Omalley, Gabbard, Yang over Trump probably.

Having a personal role model in the white house would be nice.

Politics are very .... interesting ... right now. I believe ANY middle leaning Republican (not named Trump) would crush Biden, and likewise, any middle leaning Democrat (not named Biden) would crush Trump. And yet both parties insist on rolling out both candidates again.

middle-leaning democrats do not really exist anymore - Biden is really the only one they have left and he is aged out. The majority of the democrat base supports Bernie Sanders who is an outright socialist who everyone understands would be crushed in an election

On the other hand the majority of the republican base still supports Trump, so more moderate republicans do not have much chance in a primary. Plus you have too many grievances yet to be addressed for the base to accept a "moderate" republican in the near future

The democrats just have no one else. Everyone contender is either 1) a socialist, 2) some sort of incompetent diversity token (Harris, Buttigieg etc.)

The democrats created their own problem by elevating identity politics to the point it is at

Only two ways this can be resolved: 1) Democrats fix themselves and denounce woke insanity in favour of sound moderate policy or 2) Trump completes a second term, opening the field for "normal" republican candidates

I disagree, the GOP has been pretty lockstep even in the face of serious events like Jan 6. the few that spoke out against it were immediately disowned/pushed out. Dems dont hold their own accountable....ever
