yeah bro

the 2019 right wing hillary memes that are the exact same as the 2015 2016 2017 2018 editions are truly top notch stuff

Well it can't be exactly the same as the Mueller report just got released today. But nice try. :D

Trump exercised his constitutional powers, the FBI created a perjury trap for Flynn, and the media gullibly reported on fake news for more than two years.

I'm glad that we'll be investigating this thoroughly and jailing the perpetrators.

Summary:

Donald Trump tried really, really hard to commit a slew of crimes but the “Deep State” mostly stopped him. And we now know the “Deep State” is just his cabinet members refusing to act on his orders to commit crimes.

And

“With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice.”

So Mueller clearly states Donnie boy engaged in corrupt use of his authority and ought to be punished by Congress.

Trump is technically correct that there was “no collusion” in the same sense that someone who attempted murder would be able to claim “no murder!”

qft

the first part can't be stressed enough, as it not only pertains to the mueller investigation: a major reason for the massive turnover in trump's administration is the fact that even some of the crooked and subservient 'best people' he initially chose, seem to have some kind of line they're not willing to cross. opposing outright illegal or unconstitutional orders might seem like an incredibly low bar by ordinary standards, but these days it's something almost worth crediting...

I gotta say... it's weird that Alex Jones-esque conspiracy theories are mainstream opinions in the Republican party. That Trump kool-aid fucks people up.

whether you agree with their reasoning or not, that was 100% a perjury trap;

They knew he had lied about something, they knew he wouldn't be able to change his story, they interviewed him under an ostensibly informal visit and got him on the record and asked him a pointed question they knew he would lie about

the simplest way to catch someone breaking the law is to find someone who's breaking the law and catch them
criminals are stupid and coverups almost always fall apart pathetically. Its like I was saying about Ilhan Omar in the other thread, there's mountains of evidence that show her clumsy attempt to coverup her marriage to her brother despite literally thousands of pictures and documents proving it. Its actually a lot harder for someone to pull off a Beria-esque forged crime because you have to twist legal pretexts to the breaking point or stage entrapment that can be poked away at. Look at the Julian Assange case- they had to charge him under a terrorism statute of limitations extension that's only supposed to apply to shit like anthrax attacks or kidnapping and beheading the supreme court, and even under their flimsy pretext it still doesn't work because- and this is nice and juicy ironic- the very small legal precedents cited by the Mueller report on the presumed intentional acts of congress (loughlin v united states) show that the lack of conspiracy clause in that statue makes it inapplicable.
but I don't even remember what page of this report they cited loughlin so don't ask. Maybe the searchable version could ctrl+f it

well, her brother-marrying scandal really was public knowledge in local media before her election, so yeah
the answer is: MN-5 would elect Josef Goebbels if he ran as a democrat

nice points from the wp

Mueller's key findings

● Mueller rejects the argument that the president is shielded from obstruction laws.

●Trump, when told of appointment of special counsel Mueller, said: “This is the end of my presidency.”

● “Substantial evidence” supports Comey over Trump in account of Flynn meeting.

●Trump campaign attempted to obtain Hillary Clinton’s private emails.

● Campaign expected to benefit from stolen information released by the Russians.

● Mueller probe spawned 14 other investigations, including two unidentified cases that remain ongoing.

Everyone wanted a read through Crooked Hillary's emails once we knew she had lost them to hackers in a moment of historical incompetence.

What a complete nothingburger.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

“Donald Trump was being framed, he fought back. That is not Obstruction.”
@JesseBWatters
I had the right to end the whole Witch Hunt if I wanted. I could have fired everyone, including Mueller, if I wanted. I chose not to. I had the RIGHT to use Executive Privilege. I didn’t!
