It's a matter of values and I think you have those values if you busted your ass in order to progress in your career. For the people who are stuck, there's very little we can do to help them. They simply don't have the ability to succeed and we shouldn't hold everyone else back to help them. I support grants, training programs, etc. to help the few who were unlucky but some people don't want to help themselves. These are the people who belong in Europe.
Who is advocating for that? Most people don't need to go to college and our secondary education system should be sufficient for almost ANY job in the country. I just want a society where your average person from junior high school is smarter than TiStuff, chopsticks, etc. You seem to want a society where people like them are catered to because it helps you politically.

My point is that the average person from junior high school is smarter than TiStuff, chopstickz etc. and working... maybe not as hard as they possibly could, but still a lot harder than you give them credit for - yet they still struggle to make ends meet. The plight of the working-class and the erosion of the lower middle class are not inevitabilities, they are systemic and caused by specific policy decisions made decades ago. Things don't need to be this way. It would normally be the job of left-wing parties to address these issues, but nowadays, they're more busy coming up with new genders, new reasons to create useless, unproductive government jobs or new ways to import even more people from the third world.
In places as rich as the United States or Europe, people who are working hard should be able to live their life with dignity and without pressing concerns about meeting their imminent material needs.
pretty sad when all you have is sneaking around behind the scenes making ad homs so u can make each other feel better
