nobody is triggering WW3 over an insignificant shithole like gaza or fucking ukraine
the world is consistently becoming better and safer and all doomsday predictions from the past NEVER happened
not even remotely
there are legit problems and we will figure them out
I am not saying it will start over Gaza or Ukraine but both of those could easily be a catalyst. As we've seen so far in both "Wars" they seemingly die down for a brief reprieve and then "gasoline is poured on" and suddenly it's back to the "War" is still "Raging"!
Doomsday predictions have nothing to do with the "homeostasis" that's been interrupted by anthropogenic changes on this planet and it's not slowing down.
When you say "their are legit problems we will figure out" that's actually a scapegoat by people and society to believe that "someone somewhere smarter then the rest of us" will "figure all this out".
Since the industrial revolution onward we have destroyed the biosphere in the "geologic blink of an eye". In less then 200 years we've managed to brink the entire planet to it's "tipping point".
There are so many people who live in "la-la land" and I'm not saying you are one of them but the "biggest militaries on Earth" are not actively "taking land" because they just want to "flex". They are doing it because all these intelligences are aware of something the public is not.
Here are a few things I'll mention that should raise an eyebrow.
1) 90% of insect populations are gone. You could probably think back 20 years ago when there were far more insects around and that's terrible for the biosphere.
2) Fish populations in lakes, oceans, rivers are in total free fall and a majority of the world's diet has some type of "aquatic life".
3) Wildfires burning more acres every year and burning in places like Siberia where there were previously NONE.
4) It's so warm in the Artic that right now Polar bears that would be in "hibernation" are walking around aimlessly because their "instincts" are basically scrambled.
5) Oceans are overheating and most coral reefs are either completely dead or struggling to survive.
6) "Renewable" or "Green" energy is a total farce and can never replace fossil fuels as our population continues to rise "exponentially".
7) Nuclear disasters like Fukushima and Chernobyl continue to "seep" into everything and the 100's of other "nuclear power plants" which are mostly by bodies of water(for cooling reasons) will/can go into meltdown and even a natural disaster like a tsunami/earthquake can literally destroy enough of them to where we'd be basically be in Chernobyl x 100. A powerful enough solar fare could do this too and we have no known technology to "combat" that.
8) Methane literally exploding out of the ground and at the bottom of ocean floors and rising into the atmosphere to then be trapped(Look up Methane craters). It will easily create what's termed as "Venus Syndrome" when dense gases have nowhere to go and literally cover our upper atmosphere. This is not the same as "carbon dioxide" which people like Al' Gore and John Kerry say is the "biggest" problem.
This list goes on and on those are just a few I could think of off the top of my head. Synergistic toxicity is something already soaking us all in "goop". A lot of these things are what's known as a "feedback loop" which is a lot like dominoes. Once one thing fails it causes a cascading event which in turn triggers other things. "Abrupt climate collapse" is a combination of natural occurrences are planet goes through coupled with anthropogenic things we've done. It's much worse then our governments care to convey and make us aware of. Imagine they told us how bad things really were there would be total panic and chaos so they'll wait until the last possible moment before saying, "It's really really bad and we didn't know". When in reality they know damn well and all countries and wealthy individuals have prepared for this as if it's happening now so just "going about your life and pretending your god given senses aren't trying to warn you is foolish. It's much easier to just believe "nothing is wrong" then to try and come up with solution to problems we currenly have no known technology to solve.
