Trump approved weapon sales to Ukraine which Obama had blocked. He had a great working relationship with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf monarchies, who don't even pick up the phone when Biden is calling. He also pursued fossils-friendly policy all around.
Biden can't get OPEC to pump more, his admin has pursued a large list of anti-fossils policies. He projected American/Western weakness on the global stage with the horrifically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. He decided to take American military involvement off the table when he publicly proclaimed that the U.S. would not send troops to defend Ukraine against a Russian invasion no matter what.
Furthermore, the energy crunch which partly existed even before the invasion was the result of the covid lockdowns, which were championed by Biden, the Democratic party and the liberal media while Trump and red states always tried to keep the disruptions to the economy as small as possible.
And last but not least, the invasion took place under his watch, not Trump's. More than a year after his inauguration, the buck stops with Biden.

You can't compare shortages of food or toilet paper which were caused by imminent lockdowns and a liberal media prompting people to think the world was gonna end with shortages taking place while everything is open and the epidemiological situation is under control (and has been for several months by now).

But hey, do not fret, at least Biden, the hyper-competent savior of democracy and the free world, has managed to get the same approval ratings as Trump, the "most evil, corrupt, dishonest, incompetent president in history".
