Btw you see that, few days after our exchange regarding the lockdown decision, the daily deaths is above 800 in GER ?
Meaning maybe they decided it in time finally.
What i have to add is we (FRA) did not reached the 5k max cases per day objective, and the amount of ventilated ones is NOT going down anymore.

Seems there's a plateau now, of a minimum daily deaths, sad.

We have a strong periodicity in our daily case and death numbers. Deaths always peak Wednesday through Friday; we're not averaging 800 deaths per day yet. And the patients who died yesterday are the ones who got infected in mid- to late-November, long before the hard(er) lockdown. These deaths were always coming, and there are many more "lined up" unfortunately.
