The difference between you and me is that I'm well aware of my partisan tendencies, even if I wont openly admit them, and at least occasionally try to rein them in, even if it doesnt look like that all the time. You, by contrast, seem to have deluded yourself into thinking that you're some sort of enlightened arbiter of truth and objectivity, while you're actually just as much of a raging partisan as the rest of us.
I know you want to think that, but most of the time you are totally unaware that you are doing it. If you were actually aware it wouldn't take pushing on a dozen occasions over four years to get you to admit it.
I'm pretty well aware of my bias. I'm a leftist, and damn proud of it. I don't like Republicans because they don't even pretend to fight their corporate influence, and I don't like most Democrats because they only pay lip service to left/liberal causes. I am totally open about my views, and I own them. There is a difference between a partisan bias, and a values-based bias. I am not partisan. I actively point out how terrible most Democrats are and I will never bend over backwards to defend Pelosi the way you will bend over backwards to defend virtually every Republican.
What I don't do is the kind of thing you do, where you pretend the Green New Deal would cost 90 trillion before you've even read it, and then insist it doesn't say things that it says in plain language. I will actively engage with whatever topic I am asked to, and my first response is always to look at it from the perspective of the writer and point out internal inconstancies before I insert my own value-based objections.
Anyway, if I was actually trying to help you I would be kind right now, and give gentle reminders of this conversation later. But I'm not in that kind of mood. I'm still pissed that the orange dude who's dick you sucked for 3.5 years just lost control of his base and they planted bombs in my countries capitol.
