I saw this last night and just started laughing... the desperation from Donald is palpable.

It's basic projection politics, it's a typical desperation move from someone who knows they're losing and who doesn't have any other option. The funniest part isn't the stupid thing he said but where he said it: this was at a rally in Mississippi that his campaign hastily threw on the schedule last week. He's stupidly shoehorning in rallies in Mississippi, Maine, multiple events in Connecticut, Texas, and multiple events in Michigan mere weeks before Labor Day.

These people are completely incompetent.

"From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia," Clinton said at a campaign rally here. "He's taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican Party. His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly dangerous."

She added, "This is what I want to make clear today: A man with a long history of racial discrimination, who traffics in dark conspiracy theories drawn from the pages of supermarket tabloids and the far reaches of the Internet, should never run our government or command our military. Ask yourself: If he doesn't respect all Americans, how can he serve all Americans?"

Speaking at a community college, Clinton sought to link Trump to the "alt-right," an informal group of mostly white conservative men aligned with the Republican Party that sees Trump as the only choice in 2016. The "alt-right" lives primarily online, regularly pushing racist, homophobic and sexist content.

"Hillary Clinton is using race-baiting to try to get African-American voters- but they know she is all talk and NO ACTION!"

"Hillary Clinton's short speech is pandering to the worst instincts in our society. She should be ashamed of herself!"

I'm glad HfA decided on this tactic, to list (most) of the conspiracy theories he's peddled throughout the cycle and identify just how many connections he's had to so many openly, decidedly racist people. This is a really important month coming up. Obama had Romney on the ropes in September but they had no plan for Romney showing up in Denver and completely lying in circles about everything he had said and proposed throughout the campaign; Romney was able to do that, Jim Lehrer allowed it, Obama had no idea how to respond to it, and it allowed the press to craft this narrative that Romney was "presidential" and that he had "pivoted," and the Mitt comeback narrative was born.

Clinton's trying to not allow that to happen this time. HfA is trying to pin Trump to his words, positions, and people, to say "this is who he is, don't forget it." I'm glad they're doing it, I hope they do it every single day.

Hillary is making a mistake imo.

Trump is blaming her.

Hillary is blaming the voters and creating open enemies.

I don't know what you're referring to when he comes to "blame." Clinton doesn't lose any votes by pointing out that Trump's entire 2012 campaign revolved around the claim that Obama wasn't a U.S. citizen, that Trump has repeatedly inferred that "there's something going on" between Obama and ISIS, that Trump refused to denounce David Duke, pretended to see thousands of Muslims celebrating 9/11, accused Ted Cruz's father of assassinating JFK, and on down the list.

Trump's supposed "outreach" to minorities his campaign is feverishly pitching these past 2 weeks isn't actually geared towards minorities, it's geared towards educated white people in the suburbs and exurbs. It's a desperate attempt to convince them that he isn't really a racist, and basically a way to calm their nerves about them potentially voting for a bigot. Clinton realizes that's what he's doing so she's targeting the same exact Republican-friendly voters to say "yes, Trump is a bigot, don't forget what he's said and who he's surrounded himself with, but you don't have to vote for him. You can vote for me." It's an excellent strategy given Trump's weaknesses.

the disgusting Clinton campaign comes up with Klan ads now. the Clinton campaign would like to remind us of the days when her protege Senator Robert Byrd was actually in the klan persecuting minorities!

and too bad for her there's this:
