To be fair this could just be a natural consequence of the way they've been rigging their search results for political purposes for a decade now, not specific to Trump (in this context at least)
They purposefully added filters that flag search terms they associate with contemporary political violence and suppress them, and as a result its suppressing news about political violence

They've been doing this to hide news about Antifa, BLM, the attack on Steve Scalice, etc etc. They'll defend it as an ostensibly neutral policy to micromanage how the public sees content online, which itself puts them in the position of being curators of the entire internet for a political narrative, but they're doing it to the benefit of the side committing all the political violence. And odds are if an attack occurred that they want to draw attention to, they'd put in a manual exception to blare it on the airwaves
