If he's referencing the YoY inflation, then it's probably like 30% and it's clearly wrong. If he's saying the increase from 7% to like 12%. Then sure, whatever. He's probably taking the higher figure to make himself look better but not blatantly false.

No, it's categorically false. There was no 70% increase in gasoline price between when Russia invaded Ukraine and now. There has been rampant inflation happening for awhile now which had nothing to do with Russia.
