its a covid thread. its all intertwined. our govt and loudmouth karens think its fine to leave ‘normal’ people’s lives to rot because “you can shop at target during covid”

bold: another example showing how dumb Congress is

Fuck the normal peoples lives who cant prepare a cushion for their financial security long term. My neighbour living a normal person life doesnt do shit at this point except bitch about trivial shit where target at least provides me with with shit I need and even better - jobs for these broke shits.

Make sense. We've known their significant cardiovascular involvement with covid-19 for a while

I think the point is that there is an extremely uneven distribution of the burden of the virus. The little man, the lower middle class and small business owners are bearing the brunt of the (non-health) burden, while the political class and the typical Democrat voters are far less affected. Struggling multinationals are pampered with billions of taxpayer money to survive the crisis, amazon/walmart/target see record profits and soaring stocks as the government-mandated public health measures gut their competiion - all while the common people and small businesses are left high and dry.

That's just false. POC have been hit hardest both medically and financially.

Over half of Biden's voters were white, and the whites who vote for Democrats skew heavily toward the professional class these days - folks with jobs which easily allow working from home.

Among minorities, it can safely be assumed that those living on food stamps and welfare (little direct impact from covid) vote Democrat at even higher rates than their demographic group at-large, while minority small business owners (huge impact from covid) are less Democratic-leaning than the rest of their demographic group.

This is rather poor analysis. If you're living paycheck to paycheck a.k.a the little man, COVID fucked you pretty badly. I would describe those people as the "typical Democratic voter" if they live in the correct zip code. The "professional class" is a minority that just happens to have a lot of $$.

But I'll give some equally poor analysis. Republicans were completely unaffected by COVID because they just ignored all the rules.
