Well, first off, I'm talking about radicalism, not religiosity. Pretending that the two are the same is ignorant. Muslims are more likely to radicalize if the society they are a part of alienates them. Trump's statement confirms the thought in many foreign Muslim's minds that America is against Islam. That doesn't help us.

This is why the conservative obsession over Obama saying "radical Islam" is so retarded. You shouldn't contribute to the narrative which fuels your enemy.
