Trump showed no leadership lol. The Moderna vaccine wasn't developed in the U.S., and the Pfizer vaccine didn't get funding from project warpspeed. The federal government guaranteed a minimum order if it proved effective, but that's not something that's going to change Pfizer's path since having an effective vaccine is a boon in a pandemic and guarantees sales regardless.

The Pfizer vaccine was part of project Warp Speed because the government promised to pay billions of dollars for doses and reduce regulatory costs.

The government promised to buy doses. Big whoop. You think there was ever a single doubt in anybody's mind literally anywhere on the planet that every government on the planet wouldn't be ordering millions of doses the second they were available?

Biden promised to follow the science. Naturally, the FDA usually takes ~2 years to approve something like this. Biden's plan was simply inferior.

Trump.. with a unique skillset made something happen that could save hundreds of thousands of lives within the next four years. Trump forced the FDA to reduce their "data analysis" to one month instead of a yearlong thing.

Again, global pandemic. Literally the entire world reduced their regulatory burden and made vaccine approval the #1 priority

Its great that we have a vaccine this quickly but it's pathetic to pretend Trump did anything special to make this happen. He did what every other country did and what every other administration would have done. And then went out of his way to make the pandemic worse.

Biden literally said the vaccine wouldnt be ready for two years as an attack ad against Trump. You cant play this both ways.
