Typical liberal virtue signalling: anti-fossils at home, fracking is the devil, let's stop the pipelines wherever we can, all in the name of muh climate - but implicitly relying on russia and the middle east to keep energy prices low and the world economy afloat. Even out of touch folks like those who run the DNC aren't stupid enough to take the principled but politically toxic stance on the issue, which is demanding an actual and sharp reduction in the standard of living from their own population. So they instead just engage in policies that outsource the pollution to the other side of the globe for better optics, geopolitical ramifications be damned.

Of course this approach is blowing up in their face right now, like all of their policies tend to do: they get the ugly optics, the geopolitical ramifications, a population in the throes of skyrocketing inflation and, as a consequence, they will have to pay the political price for all of that come November.

manual labor jobs are terrible to workers, elon makes robot assembly lines to eliminate such jobs and make cars in america = Elon hates workers.

govt creates subsidies to boost electronic cars, elon takes subsidies = Elon isnt good at business USA pays for all his cars through subsidies.

govt writes tax code based on salary to slam rich CEOS, elon doesnt take a salary = Elon is a tax evader.

Elon only had startup money because of racist diamond mines, turns that money 1000x with paypal = Elon is nothing without racism money, he's not smart, also he got hairplugs.

Musk has done an invaluable service for climate protection by being a trailblazer who delivered a "proof of concept" that a car manufacturer focused exclusively on electric vehicles is viable. Without Tesla, the world would have taken ~10 years longer to shift away from fossil engines.

Don't forget all the futurists who talked about how shameful it is our space program has lapsed when its the manifest destiny of mankind and only way to escape our population crisis, who have turned around and unironically screamed that spacebucks need to be seized and spent on forgiving student loans and distributing more obamaphones or whatever.
