I think allowing Twitter to have mechanisms for allowing discussions around certain important subjects is fine. Limiting disinformation is actually important, no matter what others say.
The question is whether he deserved to be banned from Twitter. Twitter has rules to determine that. He didn't violate the rules, ergo, he shouldn't be banned. I didn't think we were getting into whether or not Twitter has good rules or bad rules. That's way too broad.
Limiting disinformation is a great policy objective, the tricky part is figuring out how to do that without censoring information, and that's often been the case. How do we allow people to talk about Covid-19, for instance, but only talk about what's "true", when we have no idea what's true or not at that point in time? That's more ambitious than I think any government is set-up for.
