I feel the same. I'm 6 foot and 220 lb. When I get above 240 I start feeling like a pig and just start eating less until I get back down to 220. I really don't understand how somebody can let obesity "creep" or whatever until they are 400lb. I mean, sure, get up to 250 and being husky, but how the fuck do you let yourself get ham-planet sized?
Probably cuz a lot of the food they are eating is making them feel hungry anyway. Some diets for weight loss actually capitalize on this idea, but in reverse.
They look for foods that dont make you feel hungry, and yet are not calorie loaded. Also I might be wrong, but usually people opt for soft drinks when they eat fastfood, because its a cheap addition to the combo and the food itself is so salty that they need a drink anyway. Like this they add a lot more calories.
There still are a lot of factors that are not easy to explain either. Like Nep (I think earlier) said ; there are some people who can eat a ton of junk food and get away with it. Obviously metabolism is a factor, but there have to be other factors too. For some low carb diet works, and for others high carb. It's not so black and white.
