Out of those 1.2 million Americans that died before the vaccine roll out how many were going to "die that year anyway" ((people do die of natural causes)) and their death was attributed to "Covid". How many had cancer or pre-existing health conditions. How many committed suicide because of stress. How many old people had heart attacks or withered away and died because they couldn't even see/touch their own family. How many were put on respirators and then when taken off died. How many died in car accidents or drug overdoses and just so happened to have Covid at their time of death,

Explain to me the pleb how all 1.2 million of those people were killed by a virus that's lethality was barely 1%. How many had co-morbidities??? lmk

1% lethality on a virus that infected 100 million people is 1 million deaths. This was the spanish flu in the modern era where we could keep hospitalized patients alive on ventilators, otherwise millions more would have died.

I will take that, since It is my profession to explain statistics to people! There was 3.23 million excess mortality in the US from 2020 to 2021, i.e. a measure that explicitly accounts for "people that would have died anyway" and "people who took drugs" and whatever other reason you can imagine - there died 3 million more people than expected (the pattern is also highly correlated to reported COVID deaths, graphs can be found on the WHO website). The number is higher (that is true worldwide, not only for the US) than reported COVID deaths, suggesting that people either did not get diagnosed correctly, COVID killing people a while after the infectin and/or other correlated effects (e.g. worse mental health due to lockdowns can increase suicide rates and therefore excess mortality). 100 million infections is kinda on the low side as an estimate, but apparently the multiplication confused you.

Also the flu did not magically disappear, it just didn't spread because of the lockdowns (that also was true for every single country who did lockdowns, do you think they all fake the same data?).

Edit: i want to point out that a lot went wrong im 2020-2023 regarding COVID, like the confusion if masks help, the very optimistic "flatten the curve" strategy, closing of schools that might have cost more for society than anticipated etc., but most of the western world at least tried to do what they thought was best at the time.

We have a ton of data for flu without social distancing, it would have been extremely surprising if those didn't go down. What are you comparing the COVID spread with social distancing to? We now have a mostly vaccinated population and still have more COVID cases than flu cases, it is simply more contagious.
