may I see the ads clinton/her campaign ran in 2008 questioning his origin/religion?
I haven't seen them
http://www.politico.com/story/2011/04/birtherism-where-it-all-began-053563"The answer lies in Democratic, not Republican politics, and in the bitter, exhausting spring of 2008. At the time, the Democratic presidential primary was slipping away from Hillary Clinton and some of her most passionate supporters grasped for something, anything that would deal a final reversal to Barack Obama."
I was actually incorrect, Clinton's 2008 campaign never actually ran birther ads. One of her strategists did reccommend her to question Obama's roots as fundamentally un-American, but she never really pursued it. She did give confusing answer on 60 Minutes, when she said Obama wasn't a Muslim "as far as [she] knew."
Her supporters also circulated a picture of Obama, questioning if he was born in America and if he was a Muslim, in the heat of the 2008 DNC primaries as her once-promising lead started to crumble. A lot of people forget just how bad she blew that primary race - Obama was definitely an up and coming hot shot in politics but HRC was the big favorite entering the race.
