no need to, i assume you finally looked it up and won't make the same mistake in the future. of course you will deliberately make it here again, because your tiny ego simply can't handle admitting mistakes, but you will only do it to "save face". i really hope that secretly you learned that "international feds" makes absolutely no sense, and that using that term immediately identifies whoever does so as profoundly ignorant. you're very welcome btw.

Omg. I really shouldn't have got you started.

nice backpedal. sure sounded like you thought it was a good idea when you posted the following, trying to draw a false equivalence between a movement as a reaction to police brutality and racial discrimination, and a profoundly dumb person screeching about defunding the fbi, simply because they dared to search a lifelong crook's lair.

My entire argument was about one movement (defund the police) wanting to reduce the strength of law enforcement while the other movement (defund the FBI) wants to keep law enforcement at the same strength, just with the funding and oversight coming from a different place.

Nothing in my post equates to an approval (or dismissal or any other form of assessment of the quality or effectiveness) of said idea/proposal.

It's not even a plan though. These people are genuinely fucking stupid so you shouldn't try to understand their reasoning. Seriously, you give these idiots WAY too much leeway when you should be treating the same as you would treat the freaks who take a butcher knife to their dick and call themselves a woman.

Well, in this instance, I agree with these people on the diagnosis of the problem (politicization and partisan lean of the feds). I would love smarter and more mainstream voices to offer their (much more well thought out) solution, but oh well...

Which ways did Trump govern like a traditional Republican? Part of the reason there was so much push back is b/c he was sloppy AND his policies were adversarial to the establishment. DeSantis is pretty moderate on climate policy last time I checked as well. Anyway, I would welcome a DeSantis presidency but I don't think he has what it takes to win.

Pass tax cuts, slash regulations, pro business, pro fossils, pro Israel, anti Iran, pro defense spending, nominate conservative judges, try to repeal Obamacare, don't REALLY care about the deficit - those are all staples of Republican politics and things or stances that Trump embraced. There were only three areas of policy disagreement between Trump and the Republican establishment: trade, immigration and isolationism.

Of course DeSantis is a bit more moderate on climate policies than Trump. His entire state will go the way of atlantis before the water even reaches the 20th floor of Trump Tower!!! ;)

I could be wrong, but I don't think any country's leader has the power for nuclear when it comes to war

too many countries have access to it now

dude... i just explained to you how it is in the US. the president would obviously be advised before taking such a drastic action, but the ultimate decision is on him alone. i share your concerns. in an ideal world, NO nation would have nuclear weapons, but again, reality doesn't care about what you hope or "think".

that said, i am genuinely unable to describe it in simpler terms. the president DOES have that power, and you're wrong for "thinking" that's not the case. sorry to be that blunt, but that's just how it is. that's why trump most definitely had access to not just classified information about america's nuclear arsenal, but also ready access to launch codes and sites, no matter where he was. none of that is secret or difficult to research btw, let me link you an easy article to start from:

don't flatter or delude yourself. you didn't get me started, i made the decision to take you to school. you made an ignorant remark, so made you look up what "federal" actually means, in order to realise why it was ignorant. now you can avoid looking dumb in front of other people in the future. that's it. you're welcome.

because i explained to you, in unmistakable terms, that you are, in fact, wrong. the US president has such power. you can "disagree" with that all you want, but it's simply not a matter of opinion. just like the earth being a sphere. you might not like it, you might disagree with it, but that doesn't change the FACT it is.

I'm actually not wrong until a leader overrides their country's leadership
