Nothing further.

I’ll just say that I would not be across state lines illegally with my gun. But in the situation Kyle was in, on the ground with someone hitting me with a skateboard, which is absolutely a deadly object, I’d shoot them no questions asked.

The difference is that I would absolutely be legally possessing my firearm.

the reckless homicide charge is the one thats iffy, The intentional homicide and attempted homicide ones im 99% sure he'll easily get off on those. The video alone shows that hes being attacked by a mob. Idk if people will accept the argument of a random gunshot making you think your life is in danger part tho.

What about if you're being chased when the gunshot went off.

Why shouldn't he have come to Kenosha? It's a free country, anybody can go and be anywhere they want.

that is my opinion.

but also no, u cant go anywhere u want in america, let alone a curfew zone, let alone as a minor. in terms of legality.

I mean he can go anywhere, the question is if he can take his gun. I can go to Massachusetts, I just can’t go with my gun.

Yes you can lol, Even so that doesnt mean someone is allowed to be attacked, As an average citizen you dont get to play judge, jury and executioner over someone who breaks curfew. Him breaking a misdemeanor law doesnt mean its open season on the guy.

no, he shouldnt have, as its a crime to take guns from illinois to wisconsin.

Really? Is it just between these two states, or is it like that for the entire country?

Because the implication of this is that gun-owners cannot cross state lines when they have a gun on them.

Self defense should be protected. Not sure about the gun laws and crossing state lines and stuff though. I live in a pro gun state. If someone’s attacking me with an object like a skateboard or a hammer or something, they’re getting shot, no questions asked.

Now… if I cross state lines into somewhere like Massachusetts, I believe even possessing a gun without a license is mandatory time. All bets are off at that point. That’s the difference between me and an idiot gun owner, I know where I can and can’t take my gun.

Laws are weird. But at the core of it, he was being attacked and defended himself. Now should he have taken his gun from Illinois to Wisconsin? Idk, I don’t know the laws. There’s lots of nuance at play here.

The gun was never in illinois. It didnt cross state lines (not that it matters for self defense). Thats one of the fake news narratives.

In this thread: a bunch of people that don’t know the story

He did not take guns across state lines

He had every right to be in Kenosha as he works there and it’s 20 mins away from his house

It’s self defense and anyone saying differently in the same situation would be dead now
