Just read levictus 14 for one of many bizzare ways god instructs to treat leporacy and to make sure the person is "clean" they have to perform weird ritual. This is what we are dealing with these people thought to treat a rather simple disease with sheep sacrifice to their God :rofl:

Many Christians prayed and got sprinkled with oil but still ended up dying anyway without a cure. Odly enough their pockets were a little lighter after they visited the church in hopes the bible will cure them like it promised. Oh well but what do I know?
