No. Five Black cops stomped out a Black civilian because they are part of a system that is designed to do just that: oppress poor and minority people, often to their death. Real community policing that was a mirror of the community wouldn't see this kind of shit happening, because you'd actually have cops who are truly tied to the community they serve. Five cops aren't going to beat someone to death that either they are familiar with, or in front of people they are familiar with.

The "system" isn't designed to do that, anymore than the Mexican "system" is designed to allow grotesque levels of cartel violence. Nor is Memphis hiring blacks from "outside" because the black police commissioner wants to kill Memphis blacks. That has to be one of the dumbest takes I've ever read on this forum.

Violence, Xenophobia, and communautarianism to the extreme can easily make it.

You saying anyone else's take is the dumbest is fucking rich. Especially since I never said the Memphis police commissioner wants to kill blacks.

The system was absolutely designed to abuse blacks. This is just a historical fact that isn't up for debate if you are even slightly aware of the history of policing specifically and urban development generally.

You've spent years talking about how violent criminals getting out because of bail reform is a horrible thing that's destroying cities.

Now police who abused their authority to murder a guy in cold blood gets out on bail and you think it's fine.

Hilarious.

This isn't a particularly hard comparison
A guy with 39 prior convictions including 21 felony convictions, with 8 pending open felony charge cases, gets arrested, booked, and spun right back out the door on $0 bail. He has no monitoring requirements and ignores his bail conditions. When he's convicted in absentia, he gets his 40th suspended sentence and never serves a day in prison.
-> The system isn't working
A guy with 0 prior convictions gets arrested on his first felony, and gets bail with $350,000 bond. He later gets convicted of 2nd degree murder and 15 years in prison
-> This is whats supposed to happen

See the difference?

Interesting how conservatives have absolutely no problem understanding “self-hating male feminist” and “self-hating white leftie” but the moment you suggest racism might influence black peoples’ behavior to each other their IQ plummets from 10 to 5
