You've spent years talking about how violent criminals getting out because of bail reform is a horrible thing that's destroying cities.
Now police who abused their authority to murder a guy in cold blood gets out on bail and you think it's fine.
Hilarious.
This isn't a particularly hard comparison
A guy with 39 prior convictions including 21 felony convictions, with 8 pending open felony charge cases, gets arrested, booked, and spun right back out the door on $0 bail. He has no monitoring requirements and ignores his bail conditions. When he's convicted in absentia, he gets his 40th suspended sentence and never serves a day in prison.
-> The system isn't working
A guy with 0 prior convictions gets arrested on his first felony, and gets bail with $350,000 bond. He later gets convicted of 2nd degree murder and 15 years in prison
-> This is whats supposed to happen
See the difference?
