Even if the US didn't care about the future of Israel at all, it makes zero sense to abandon them. And giving them the opportunity to turn to Russia or China might keep the American libertarians happy, but it's no way for a serious American to conduct foreign policy.

The whole point of US foreign policy, separated from the winds of political sway, is America has influence, and we should maintain that influence as long as the costs are not greater than the benefits. Ceding Israel to Russia or China is giving over our influence to more malign powers.
Reducing aid over 10-20 years to 75% of current levels isn't abandoning, nor enough to cause them to be ceded to Russia or China. and it can be changed if they stop making baby skull goblets.
but aid is something honestly i dont care about, the lack of public condemnation of their actions is the real issue. we've had about 6 presidents in a row reading directly from their script, lying through their teeth about how their actions are necessary and justified.
