I am Singaporean and I work in HK and China and Taiwan. And I can assure you most China Chinese don't want China to be run like the United States from my experience. The Hong Kongers prefer the British style administration. And Taiwan is going through a democratic crisis right now because the current government is running it like the Democrats on steroids.

Taiwan? What is a Taiwan?

People are conflating capitalism with innovation. They are independent. Reason everyone thinks Capitalism is responsible for innovation is that captilist model does best at mass producing an innovation for good or bad. Peel it back to state controlled tech, and other regimes arguably have kept pace or beat capitalist west in some races. Sputnik was a prime example. Now modern China has reversed engineered about everything so an innovative tech edge is less of a thing.

You said the USA is half way to chinese tyranny. the only way you disagree is if you think tyranny is good.

In the past yes. I don't see that anymore.
In China there is Formal Censorship.
In US there is informal censorship.

In regards to Tyranny , the US is halfway there to her own people and she has been to others who are not her own people for quite a fair amount of time.

Confused.

Confused.

Comparatively speaking after the events of WW2
USA is moving towards Tyranny slowly and during the events of the past 10 to 15 years it is getting worst.

Comparatively speaking after the events of WW2 and the Chinese Communist Party take over of mainland China
China is moving away from the Tyranny of Mao Zedong and gang of four Tyranny slowly and getting better.
