It is the law, that you are not allowed to injure or kill somebody who invaded your home, is it not?

You are going to have to ask someone legally educated (but in my lacking legal knowledge) excessive force still exists as a charge if someone breaks in. As does attempted murder. The charges are often quite funny from a British sense of humour because the tables have been turned.
