The definition of blue/purple/red typically refers to the margin of Presidential victories as opposed to how many times they voted for a candidate. Nevada is almost always close whereas a state like Oregon isn't. Since there are many degenerates who reside in Oregon's cities, they obviously need to promote sexual health.

I'm not opposed to PSA's telling people to use condoms as part of the regulatory measures. You can do that without forcing people to adhere to expensive regulations. If the cost of STD testing is footed by the tax payer, then I think it would be reasonable to require that kind of regulation since the cost per fuck wouldn't be affected that much.

I'm not asking you to prove it, just that you should be open to other possibilities just like how I'm open to your hypothesis being correct.

I'm open to opposing arguments. Once again, I think Nevada as an example is silly, and I hardly consider what they do "regulation" in the first place, and in the second place, they don't track near enough to utilize them as a realistic example. The only stats that truly can be relied on is how they stack up vs other states, and they're definitely a hotbed of STDs, particularly Syphilis, and their rates are going up, not down.

Were we to legalize and regulate prostitution, my assumption is it'd work the same as most other for-profit businesses: They are required to cover their own safety expenses. Whether that's in the form of drug screenings, safety equipment, armed security, birth control, STD testing, you name it. It comes out of their profits, and would probably raise their prices. Just like everything else on the market.

And I would also be opposed to any form of TV advertising for them for the exact same reasons tobacco companies are prohibited. Those under the age of consent cannot participate, therefore they should not be advertised to, as it is promoting self-destructive activity.
