Why are the so called democrats such warmongers? You have to coexist with all the other folks and cultures on this planet. Of course, if you disregard the other side declaring them unimportant because they aren't a "democratic states" and don't listen to them misunderstandings are caused like the ones in Ukraine now when Russia offered to talk before the invasion started, for years actually. Anyway, the timing is perfect. 1/3 of all chips in the world are made in Taiwan, 80% of the highend chips btw. Let's make the economic situation worse for the USA, very smart indeed.

Honestly if it was me, i would just retaliate by giving Russia armed drones in massive quantities openly, because we all know that is what they lack the most and china has an absolute fuckton of them.

There is no need for china to spoil their long-term worldwide plans.

I’m not a foreign affairs expert, but the threat of westward expansion is sort of why NATO was formed. It would probably take a singular “whoopsie daisy” by Russia for NATO to get involved, and if China directly supported that “whoopsie daisy”, they’d be dragged into it was well.

Again, for context, this is completely a subjective observation on current affairs and I could be far from reality.

2 nuclear powers will not clash by the way, this is fantasy, there is sort of an unspoken rule.

What would happen is more proxy activations ye. Also I doubt there would be such a strong reaction to arming russia, I doubt russia really needs it but even if they did, considering americans are already arming ukr as they wish I don't expect any real repercussions.
