They really did dump mentally ill people from asylums onto the streets. And it's what spurred the homeless issue.
Not enough people talk about it.

What's sad is people keep hoisting him up like he's the top Republican president this past century. Iran-Contra, war on drugs, dumping out the skitzos onto the streets. It's a trickle down effect of garbage we are getting today.

There is a long genealogy to this problem. It started with the move toward deinstitutionalization to more community based solutions led by the Federal Government led by John F Kennedy and ended with a massive defunding of healthcare during the Reagan administration. It was a long road in the middle.

American leadership decided to stop one things and do another, then stopped doing the thing, and never did the other. Lol.

That guy spent so much money and really began what we see as the American dept today.
He was just pumping money into the economy and everyone thought it was awesome.

It wasn't awesome and now our grand kids have to pay for it.

I wonder if they'll mention the anti-psychotics and other meds he was on the last couple years?

I wonder if they'll talk about his family up bringing(Did he have both parents around to raise him? Was it just his Grandma?

This "person" committed a crime that in any state/country would result in multiple casualties. Even if there was an armed guard in the school he'd still have enough time to empty a clip into a class room before getting pop'd in the head.

Anyone arguing race or gun/anti-gun rhetoric is an idiot. He targeted children. I'm sure a 'manifesto" will come out any minute now and label him whatever they want to label him. He's dead so the parents will never get a truth or closure. Pray for them
