Its not an excuse. Even at 40 im an avid sports enthusiast and I have golf clubs, metal baseball bats and the like all over my house. Even if an intruder HAS a gun they had better aim correct the first time or they are going to be sorry regardless.

If you hunt and shit thats fine but Im not gonna be cleaning someones ribcage and shit outa my house thats just disgusting. My only problem with firearms is because some people like to take their very valid uses and turn them into these weird obsessions and OOPS now we have mass shootings every week. Wonder how that fucking happened.



That isnt the point. Hunting is fine with me and coyotes and stuff are a huge problem in areas like that and montana and I understand that. But people that think carrying three hidden guns to a grocery store to prevent someone stealing a couple bags of chips, or taking automatic rifles to a peaceful protest to "protect the peace." Have some kind of habitual self worth problem.

This is just fear porn. Don't want your house broken into? Get a dog and lock your door. It's really that simple. People breaking into homes are crimes of opportunity. There's no secret brigade of men walking around trying to break into every house they find so they can harm you. They're just looking for easy targets to steal from and it's incredibly simple to deter them.

Despite what you may think, you aren't completely correct.

A few communities over there were four black men who committed a home invasion with a dog and elderly lady in it. Ransacked the house and fled. Police had the whirlybird in the sky and every active unit patrolling the area.

Never found them.

Not everything is a crime of opportunity. They saw a nice house and said "fuck it, gibs me dat!"

Theres no reason to NOT own a gun.

Even if you don't like guns, just put it away somewhere, where you can get to it quick in the unfortunate event you need to stop a threat in a timely manner.

Criminals will just steal or make their own guns. All you are doing is disarming good citizens who have the right. If you don't like guns fine don't get one. No one is forcing you to have. You people have hard time grasping the concept shall not be infringed
