Hi, in 1989 we had a massive hole in the ozone layer which we have pretty much repaired now due to doing what the science at that time suggested and banning cfc's so this constant "gotcha" from the uneducated just makes you all look bad.

Bullshit. The UN warning from 1989 specifically stated that all these apocalyptic things would be caused by global warming, not the hole in the ozone layer - which btw is not(!) contributing to global warming:

And this of course. The ozone hole was easy to tackle since it was caused by one substance (CFCs) which was only used in a limited range of products or activities and for which a technologically equivalent replacement existed.

A report done in 1989 would have HAD to account for that hole because it was the largest issue of the day.

In 1989 this was not the case.

The statement you quote refers to the ozone hole and what people did about it, i.e. the fact that mankind replaced CFCs with HPCs. This is clearly not an activity change that has a noteworthy impact on carbon emissions or global warming, and per my nasa source, neither had the ozone hole itself.
